Name: Rixon
Gender: Male
Age: Around 14 (in cat years)
Species: Black Cat
Personality: When he was a kit, he was a little naive and childish. He believed in almost anything, making him somewhat gullible as well. As he grew and learned the terrors of his demon, Mortem, he soon lost his childishness. His confidence grows at about the speed of a tree growing, and he lacks the bravery to confront Mortem in his consciousness. He quickly started growing paranoid, and his jumpiness and worry grew when he was around others. He rarely is with others, for fear that his Cursed side might try and take over again. Though when he's not thinking about Mortem, he is naturally shy and is rarely talkative. A friendly smile can appear every now and then on his tear-stained face, and a giggle is occasionally heard from the black cat. Rixon thinks that Mortem is afraid of laughter and joy, which is why he never attacks or gets angry when he's in a sense of bliss... and which is why Mortem tries to take all happiness away from Rixon.

Other: To make up for his blindness, he developed a few talents to help him. One of these talents is to be able to feel the ground with his paws and send vibrations out so he can "see" his surroundings; similar to echo-location. Another one of these talents is to tell whether or not someone is lying by how the other person is speaking. Excuses can't get by him with this talent, and people have to be purely honest around him in order to gain his trust.
Bio: Rixon's story starts out way back to his Great Grandfather. Wizards were being sent away from where he lived, and Rixon's Great Grandfather was warding them away from the forest. One wizard, an elder, attempted a curse on the cat which would make him be possessed by a demon that would cause chaos throughout the land. The wizard was stalled and killed, however, and the spell was incomplete. Despite this, a demon still made his way into Rixon's Great Grandfathers's body and has stayed there, unawoken. The demon was passed down the family line; first to Rixon's Grandfather, to his mother, and then to him.
 When Rixon was born, it was obvious he was blind. Once he realized the disadvantages he had, he started wishing that he could be able to see what the whole world had to offer. His mother knew it was a ridiculous dream, but nonetheless supported her dreaming son. Rixon was always grateful, and he shared a close bond with her.
One day, on a typical walk through the woods, he encountered a young girl who ended up dropping her glasses. She asked for his help, and he happily obliged, finding her eye-wear quickly as if he never was blind. When she found out he was blind, she was shocked, but glad at the same time, since she found who she was looking for. She revealed she was an apprentice wizard, and she offered him a wish for his services. He at first refused, but after constant coaxing from the stranger, he finally took the wish and asked for sight. With a few magic words and extreme mind concentration, Rixon's eyes slowly turned from a pale blue to an emerald green. The world materialized in front of him, and once it finally came together, he was too shocked to react in any way. He just stared at his surroundings until his eyes met the glass of the apprentice's glasses. Something sparked in Rixon's chest, and a weird sensation hit him... Something very common if someone was lying to him. In growing paranoia, the black cat turned tail and ran, not sure why he was so scared but he decided to follow his instincts. Little did he know that the apprentice not only didn't complete the seeing spell-- for when his fear grew to new highs, his vision blurred again-- but she had also awoken the demon that has slept inside him for generations. Rixon ran home to his mother, who was very concerned by his look of fear. He explained that he ran into a witch apprentice that granted him sight, but he felt an odd connection with her that scared him. Shortly after explaining, the demon inside him created a fiery sensation in his chest and started to possess Rixon. His mother didn't know what it was at first, but when her son's shaking stopped and Rixon's pale eyes were replaced with a blood red, she knew that something was wrong and the red eyes were not Rixon's. She was right; they were the demon's eyes. She noticed that his fur pattern on his ears and tail were red rings, and on the cat's face was a twisted smile. The demon explained that his name was Mortem, and after years of hiding, he was finally release and permitted to cause chaos. He attacked Rixon's mother and was close to killing her when his eyes suddenly flashed pale and the demon screamed. The red rings disappeared and the black cat fell to the ground, unconscious. Later he awoke to find him mother dead of bleeding, and he was stricken with grief. He ran to the forest, refusing to believe what he saw, despite a new voice in his head telling him that he did it.
Ever since, Rixon had been living alone, occasionally running into friends such as Joker (coming soon) and Loki (coming soon), and had to suffer through Mortem's kill streaks as he slowly gained his courage to finally face the demon within.

Alrighty! I managed to draw at least one of my OC's! Why did I decide to draw 'im now? Well, because you guys wanted to see some of my OC's, so I decided before I finish me needed-to-be-done request and move on to something else, I should at least draw one of these guys. Rixon was the character I decided to draw, since I already started on 'im awhile ago. Plus, sometime soon I'm going to be animating with 'im in a MAP part, so I thought I should have his bio up so he won't go completely unknown. Too bad I can't say the same for Rathel, who I'll be animating with in another MAP part... X3

Rixon here is actually one of my only characters with a darker past. Most of my other characters are pretty dull when it comes to that field. X3 I just knew I had to have a character similar to this since it's apparently a popular type of character nowadays. In addition, I know I should have some practice of sad or violent scenes for animating as well as drawing, so I thought I should have a character who I can draw in those types of scenes. I also am kinda fond of fond of fight scenes and eviler songs for animatin', so... Yea. He pretty much came from that. I feel bad for 'im, though; he's such a sad little kitty! TT~TT Hope ya'all like 'im!
